The useful answer

Big Walk is a 2–12 player online cooperative “walker-talker” about exploring an island, solving communication puzzles and hanging out with friends. There is no combat, death loop or random matchmaking.

Step by step

  1. Watch the official trailer or scan the spoiler-free overview.
  2. Choose a reliable host and the correct world size.
  3. Bring at least one other player; solo exploration cannot finish the puzzle route.

Why players get stuck here

Players expect a quest list or mission arrows, but the game deliberately replaces them with landmarks, physical tools and conversation.

What a normal session actually feels like

One player hosts a persistent world and the others join it. The group explores without a quest arrow, recognizes challenges from physical structures and solves them by describing information, pointing, carrying objects and using communication tools. Progress comes from returning physical rewards to receivers rather than accepting missions from a menu.

It is closer to a cooperative adventure and social puzzle game than a survival game, party minigame collection or walking simulator.

House House's official overview shows exploration, proximity communication, gestures and tools without revealing puzzle solutions.

Verify it before moving on

When the game gives no marker, pick one visible landmark, describe what each player can see and test a single idea together. That communication loop is the intended navigation system, not a sign that the group missed a quest prompt.
